Something for everyone at vintage fair and fun day

Dozens of stallholders flocked to Blackpool’s Winter Gardens to show off their crafty side.

The vintage fair saw home-made clothing, accessories, antiques and food take centre stage at Saturday’s event.

Organiser Ruby Coupe, who runs the Dotty Delightful fairs, said: “It was wonderful, I’m really pleased with how it went.” Ruby, who has been running fairs in Blackpool for four years, added: “I was a crafter originally who had been to different ones, though were pretty rubbish.

“So I thought if I started to organise them I’d know what other people would want.

“We’ve got lots of local talent in Blackpool but they don’t really have anywhere else to showcase it.

The next vintage fair will take place on November 29 and 30.

Meanwhile, in nearby St John’s Square, the Federation of Small businesses held a family fun day.The event was held to mark the 40th anniversary of the Fylde-based organisation’s creation.
