Comedian Ed Byrne

Jason Manford, whose sellout Lowther show in 2013 began the cavalcade of comedy at the Lytham venue, is also set to return to town in April, headlining the comedy night at the St George’s Festival in a grand marquee on Lytham Green on April 20.

Lowther trustee Dan Creasey, who has played a key role in attracting the top comedy names to the theatre, said: “It is very exciting for us that the Pavilion is now attracting so many top comedians and is fast becoming a respected comedy venue putting Lytham on the map as the place to be.”

The Lowther date for Russell Kane is part of his Right Man, Wrong Age national tour and tickets are priced £17.50.
