Viva entertainment director Leye D Johns said: “Everyone here at Viva is thrilled that we not only get to welcome back the music legend that is Merrill Osmond, but also have the fantastic Jay Osmond join us at the venue too.

“I don’t need to tell you how amazing Merrill and Jay are because I’m sure that everyone who knows and loves The Osmonds will already know just how incredibly talented and lovable they truly are.

“We’re sure this will be an extremely popular night with locals and visitors alike so we’re encouraging everyone to book tickets early to make sure they don’t miss out.”

World-wide music icons, The Osmonds - originally featuring Alan, Wayne, Merrill and Jay - recorded their first record album in 1963 titled Songs We Sang On The Andy Williams Show.

Since then and with the addition of younger siblings Donny, Jimmy and Marie to the group, the family has gone on to release around 200 albums and notch up 100 million album sales collectively.

A spokesman added: “With each album recorded, the Osmonds’ talents and abilities continued to grow musically and saw the band cover just about every genre of music imaginable.

“The Osmonds have proven to be very talented and successful song writers and have penned a majority of their biggest hits – including Down By The Lazy River, Crazy Horses (their biggest international hit), Let Me In, Goin’ Home, and many more.”
