Deadline looming for talented dancers to sign up

The company is about to move into its second year and is recruiting new performers, to help further its success.

During the past year, the dancers have won places at Lancashire Youth Dance Festival, U Dance North West and the first ever Commonwealth Youth Dance Festival, giving youngsters from the region an opportunity to showcase their skills on big stages.

They have also worked with top choreographers and companies and hope to keep the momentum up as they seek the next wave of dance talent in the area.

Anyone interested in joining the company must register to audition by Monday at 5pm - with the try outs taking place next Friday, September 19 at 8pm at the Winter Gardens.

Coun Christine Wright, Blackpool Council’s cabinet member for culture and heritage, said: “This is a fantastic opportunity for the best young dancing talent on the Fylde coast.
