Road closed as car '˜burst into flames'
Police and fire services from South Shore were called to Bond Street at around noon, where a Land Rover Freelander was burning near the junction of Osbourne Road.
The road was closed off while firefighters extinguished the blaze.

Hide AdA fire service spokesman said: “We turned upto a well developed fire that we believe is accidental. We do not know the exact cause of the fire, but the driver was actually driving the vehicle when it burst into flames.”
The male driver, his brother and a dog had all escaped the car by the time emergency services arrived at the scene. There were no injuries.
The road has now been reopened.
