Police seize knives from Mereside front garden
Two knives and a hammer were seized by police patrolling Mereside.
The knives were found in a front garden while the hammer was handed to PCSO Anna Wagstaff, she said.
“No persons have been arrested but it is three potential weapons off the streets which can only be considered a good thing.”
The items were taken back to the police station to be destroyed, PCSO Wagstaff added.
