THE KARPENTERS. Beautiful music, fond memories and nostalgic moments combine in a return visit of the country’s leading tribute to the many hits of former chart toppers Karen and Richard Carpenter. Plus meal option. Sands Venue, Central Promenade, Blackpool.

PORT & CHEESE EVENING. An evening of indulgence, you will have heard of Port and Stilton as a common combination so now is your chance to find out why this works. You will taste your way through six luscious ports, while trying different cheeses from our own local Lancashire Creamy, to the rich and salty blue cheeses. There will also be unusual fruity cheeses that will enhance the rich fruity flavours of the ports. Empress Grill Room, Winter Gardens, Blackpool. 7pm.
