Indie rockers The Vaccines will launch their new UK tour at Blackpool’s Empress Ballroom in November.
The gig will kick off a series of 10 dates around the country, to accompany album release English Graffitti, which comes out in May.
The Tuesday, November 10 date will see the Winter Gardens packed, with comedy stars Harry Enfield and Paul Whitehouse (pictured) back on the road and also announcing an Opera House show on the same night.
Legends! brings the duo together live on tour for the first time.
Legendary characters such as Loadsamoney, Smashie and Nicey and Kevin the Teenager will all be revisited.
Harry said: “We’ve wanted to put our TV characters into a live tour for a while and now seems the right time to get together and do this. We’ve never performed them live before, so we’re really looking forward to the tour.” Paul said: “I’m really looking forward to performing the characters again and this time for a live audience.
“I hope the shows will bring back some great memories for both the audience and us.”
Legends! tickets go on sale on Monday at 9am, followed by The Vaccines on Friday, April 24. Visit www.wintergardensblackpool.co.uk for details.
