The party’s started at Poulton’s newest venue, Uber on Vicarage Road held its VIP launch prior to tonight’s public opening in what was The Residence Nightclub.
Owner Elliot Simpson challenged anyone to spot any similarities – and he wasn’t far wrong.
Uber has been built from the bottom up – the dance floor has gone and in its place is an impressive centre stage circular bar, the DJ console is now near the entrance stairs and the club atmosphere has been replaced by what Elliot describes as “the ultimate in sophisticated, social atmosphere and entertainment.”
His aim, he says has been to create “something over and above everywhere else.” says Elliott.
There’s an over 23s age policy on the door and the dress code he says is “no effort, no entry.”
“This is a high calibre venue – fun, social, tasteful, upbeat – and we want to keep it that way.”
Uber boasts an extensive cocktail menu, a high end branded spirits list and a discerning selection of wine and champagnes – as well as Peroni on draught.
“Uber has been designed to allow guests to relax in the comfort and style of the plush seating areas or gather to enjoy the stylish soundtrack in the sleek settings,” he says.
Music will be an assorted range, from funky background beats to contemporary and timeless mixes.
