Sub Zero Ice Arena in Cleveleys is welcoming stars of ITV’s Dancing on Ice for the launch of its figure skating club tonight.

Coaches and skaters will be joined by skating stars Daniel Whiston
(left), Karen Barber and Kyran Bracken from 6pm giving an opportunity for anyone with an interest in skating to visit the rink and find out more
about the figure skating club as well as meeting the stars.

The figure skating club has been established to give skaters the opportunity to work with talented coaches and develop their skills in this area.

Anyone wishing to join can go along and find out whether the classes are suitable for them.

The figure skating club will take place every Monday from 6 to 7.30pm. Annual membership costs £35 and monthly fees start from
£35.

A spokesperson from Sub Zero Ice Arena said: “Television shows such as Dancing On Ice have made ice skating really popular in recent years and we get many visitors who want to learn new skills.

“With this in mind we decided to set up the figure skating club.

“So far we have had lots of interest in the club and having stars such as Dan, Karen and Kyran at the rink for the launch will hopefully encourage many more people to come down and join the club.”

Sub Zero Ice Arena is situated on the Promenade at Cleveleys.
