James Bond actor Roger Moore has spoken of his love for ballroom dancing - and especially Strictly Come Dancing from Blackpool Tower.
The star is heading to the Grand Theatre in the autumn on one of just 11 national tour dates, celebrating 70 years in showbusiness.
An Evening with Sir Roger Moore comes to the Grand on Friday, October 23, with tickets on sale now costing £27.
And he hopes to be able to take in one of the resort’s highlight attractions while here, to make wife Kristina Tholstrup’s dream come true.
He said: “One of Kristina’s and my guilty pleasures is watching Strictly, and in particular we love the Blackpool Tower episode very year.
“You see, it’s my wife’s dream to waltz across the Tower Ballroom - with Anton DuBeke!
“However, she said she’d make do with me as a close second. If we can, that’ll be a great bonus to our visit in the autumn.”
The event promises to be an intimate special, giving fans a chance to hear from the actor himself in the beautiful surrounds of the Grand.
On stage with Sir Roger, 87, will be his biographer Gareth Owen presenting the chat about his life and career.
Fans can expect Sir Roger to share inside stories and exclusive anecdotes from his career, which saw him play secret agent James Bond from 1973 to 1985.
