AREN’T you a bit young for that pint?

Fleetwood’s Ryan Wilkinson is celebrating today after his starring role as Adam Wiggins in the top Channel Four drama Shameless aired last night.
The 12-year-old, seen here posing with co star Alice Barry who plays Lillian Tyler, enjoyed the screening with his family at their home in Shakespeare Road.

“I play a bit of a bad lad. It was a brilliant experience, the cast and crew were smashing.”
Ryan is no stranger to TV success, having already appeared Doctors, The Secret of Crickley Hall and Bedlam, amd is set to appear on screens again later this month in new BBC 3 zombie drama In the Flesh which starts March 17.

A pupil at Cardinal Allen School, Ryan is also a member of the Scream Theatre School where he was originally spotted by talent scouts.

And there’s no resting on his laurels. Ryan is waiting to hear if he’d landed yet another role after another audition.

Grandad Wilf added: “It’s surreal seeing him on screen but he loves everything about it.”
