It’s time to turn down the heat this weekend as Blackpool’s Grand Theatre hosts Sing-a-long-a Frozen.
The Disney animation has been a smash hit with children of all ages, as princess sisters Anna and Elsa seek true love.
These Sing-a-long-a shows create a ‘unique, interactive screening’ and a ‘magical family experience’ as lyrics on screen help the audience join in with the sisters and the live host.
A spokesman said: “In the established Sing-a-long-a tradition, there will even be a fancy dress competition, so make sure you come along dressed up as your favourite character.
“Who wouldn’t want to be a Snow Queen for the day or Olaf the snowman, the coolest iceman ever?
“In this heart-warming tale, optimist Anna sets off on an epic journey, teaming up with rugged mountain man Kristoff and his loyal reindeer Sven, to find her sister Elsa whose icy powers have trapped the kingdom of Arendelle in eternal winter.
“Encountering treacherous conditions, mystical trolls and a hilarious snowman named Olaf, Anna and Kristoff battle the elements in a race to save the kingdom.
“Packed with fun, discovery and all your favourite tunes, Sing-a-long-a Frozen at Blackpool Grand Theatre is the perfect enchanting adventure for children this summer holiday.
“Sooooo ‘do you wanna build a snowman...?’”
The show is recommended for children aged five and over.
