KAOS Bar on Queen Street is the venue for a charity night tomorrow featuring the UK’s number one Amy Winehouse tribute act.
Laura Jane Butler has won many accolades for her Winehouse act and has agreed to appear in Blackpool to helps raise money for The Amy Winehouse Foundation.
The charity was founded by Amy’s father Mitch, and helps inform and educate young people of the effects of drink and drug mis-use.
It’s a free event (with donations at the door) which starts at 8pm and also features seven very brave, or maybe foolhardy, men who are getting their chests waxed on stage.
There are also performances from singers, a raffle (including some signed Amy Winehouse memorabilia) and a buffet, and the night is hosted by one of Blackpool’s well-known drag queens, Miss Chris D’Bray.
* JAZZ fans listen up. An afternoon of music takes place tomorrow at the Marine Hall in Fleetwood, with classic jazz band Six-In-A-Bar providing the sounds.

A NEW soul bar opens its doors in Poulton tomorrow.
Mojos on Breck Road - which used to be The Matrix - is holding a launch party at 7pm with soul singer Steve Hale booked in for the opening night.
“We are aiming for an over 25s bar, high end service, with cocktails, wines and champagnes,” said Nigel Bond, who is one of three people behind the new bar.
“We looked at Poulton and felt Motown and soul weren’t being catered for. We think there is a gap in the market for it and we are really looking forward to opening.”
