CHART topping DJ Fatboy Slim is bringing his legendary outdoors parties indoors and heading to Blackpool.
Fatboy Slim – whose real name is Norman Cook and who is married to Cleveleys-born Zoe Ball – welcomes clubbers to embrace the essence of his infamous acid house parties when he brings the party to venues that echo the spirit of the history of UK clubbing from the Northern Soul roots of Blackpool to the Soul of Southend.
The party nights also feature new talent in the shape of Jackbeats and Doorly.
Norman says: “It’s been a classic year so far with raves on the Great Wall of China, beach parties in Tokyo and now festive fun in the Meccas and ballrooms of the UK.”
The DJ’s short Five Night Stand tour opens in Brighton on December 1 and ends at Blackpool Empress Ballroom on Saturday, December 10, running from 9pm to 2am.
Tickets go on sale from Friday at 9am. Details from (0844) 8110051 or buy online from gigsandtours.com (24 hour credit cars hotline: 0844 811 0051).
Fatboy Slim’s three biggest UK hits were Gangster Trippin’ (number three in 1989), Praise You (Number One in 1999) and Right Here, Right Now (Number Two in 1999).
