STUDENTS enjoyed tricks and treats during a visit to Blackpool Sixth Form College last week.

The college hosted a Fright Night of Halloween themed performance and dance with music students, including one stunning set up of Michael Jackson classic Thriller, on Tuesday.

Pupils from Baines School, Palatine Community Sports College, Montgomery High School, Hodgson Academy, Bispham High School and Collegiate High School joined the seasonal celebrations in fancy dress to find out about performance courses on offer.

Lucinda Doyle, head of performing arts, music and media at Blackpool Sixth, said: “The staff and students made a real effort, with everyone coming in fancy dress to celebrate our students’ work on Fright Night.

“The evening provided entertainment to showcase the talents of students taking BTEC Music, BTEC Dance and A level Music.

“The performances were truly show-stopping.”

The bravest Year 10 students also attended a screening of horror film The Woman in Black.
