SHE already has the looks and the lifestyle – and now one Fylde teen is set to live out the dream on stage.
Charlotte Dawson – daughter of late comedian Les – has landed a starring role in a musical which hopes to take the glamorous lives of footballer’s wives to the West End stage.
The 19-year-old, from Lytham, will play the Natasha Giggs-style role in WAG! The Musical, which is set to open in London in June.
Charlotte said: “I can’t wait to do it, I’m very excited.
“This show will hopefully go to the West End if it’s big enough.
“I will be playing a Wag which is funny – I do know quite a few Wags but I’m not a Wag myself. I know what they are like and the glamorous life they live so I can bring my own experience to the role.”
It will be the second professional production Charlotte has taken part in, fresh from a UK tour as sexy Simone in A Bed Full of Foreigners.
The actress and model also hopes to turn her hand to presenting – with a number of “exciting” projects in the pipeline – but says WAG! The Musical will be her biggest acting job to date.
Charlotte, who lives on Blackpool Road, added: “I did go down the modelling route but I think I have more of personality than just standing behind a camera posing.”
The musical opens at the Rose and Crown Theatre in Walthamstow, East London, in June.
