Performers are being sought for the annual Fylde’s Got Talent competition.
Last year’s event, won by Kirkham Grammar School student Chloe Walker, was a huge success and the organisers are hoping the contest, now in its third year, will be bigger and better this time.
They are looking for all types of performers - singers, dancers, musicians, magicians and comedians - all encouraged to take part whether soloists, duos, bands or groups.
Hopefuls have already started signing up so, if you think you’ve got what it takes don’t miss your chance to audition between 10am and 2pm at Kirkham Community Centre on Sunday March 6, and at Our Lady Star of the Sea Parish Centre, St Annes, on Saturday March 12. Should you be successful you will be called back to the Our Lady Parish Centre on Sunday March 13. The Grand Final is at Lowther Pavilion, Lytham, on Saturday March 19.

Since winning last year’s contest Chloe Walker’s singing career has gone from strength to strength with performances including Fleetwood Marine Hall and Lytham Christmas lights switch on. She also sang at the Lytham Proms concert headlined by soprano Lesley Garrett and watched by 5,000 people.
