THERE will be proof that live music is far from extinct in Lancaster as N’DOdO perform at The Dukes tomorrow.
N’DOdO are the reincarnation of the Afro/jazz/rock group NO DODO who played gigs across the district in the 90s.
They are led by drummer Iain Hunter and rhythm is very much at the heart of the band which also features guitars, saxophones and basses.
N’DOdO’s music is perfect to dance to and visitors to The Dukes bar from 6.30pm will be able to enjoy a free sample before the full show which begins in The Round at 8pm (doors 7.30pm).
And anyone wishing to learn from these masters of rhythm can take part in a rhythm and drum workshop earlier in the day, at 2pm. This is free for N’DOdO ticket holders but places must be reserved at the box office.
N’DOdO tickets are priced £8 (£6 concessions). To book call The Dukes box office on 01524 598500 or visit www.dukes-lancaster.org
