Lucinda (pictured) comes from the Wirral and is 19-years old. At school she appeared as soloist in choral concerts and won prizes in music festivals.

She is also a keen violinist and has passed examinations in ballet, tap and disco dancing and appeared in productions at the Liverpool Empire and the Haymarket Theatre in London’s West End.

Lucinda currently studies music at Manchester University and hopes to continue her education at the RNCM and then pursue a career in music and theatre. Elliot is 15 and comes from Lymm. In 2007 he was awarded a place at Chetham’s in manchester. He has taken part in masterclasses and has performed as soloist on several occasions with the Chetham’s Orchestras.

He has been a member of several wind ensembles and was recently offered a place in the National Youth Orchestra.

His ambition is for a career combining solo performances with the position of principal clarinet in a major orchestra.

Russell Lomas (pictured) is one of this country’s finest and best known accompanists who, until his retirement in 2003, was head of accompaniment at Chetham’s School of Music.

The recital begins at 2pm.
