It’s no secret that the kids of Scream Talent Agency, based in Blackpool and Salford’s MediaCityUK, have made their mark on the three part BBC One drama The Secret of Crickley Hall due to spook our screens Sunday.

Seven child actors of Scream’s Kids Division star alongside Suranne Jones and Tom Ellis in the adaptation of James Herbert’s bestselling novel.

Crickley Hall holds a very unpleasant history and when bad things happen they can often leave their mark, so when the Caleigh Family move into Crickley Hall they soon discover things are not quite right with the old house and they are not alone...

Scream youngsters Ryan Wilkinson (12), Adam Mitchell (nine), Abigail Pain (10), Bethanie Holland-Ball (12), Jack Mitchell (11), Karis Lomax (10) and Grace Onyett (seven) play the roles of Crickley Halls previous inhabitants.

Ryan Wilkinson, a pupil of Cardinal Allen High School, Fleetwood said: “I’m so excited to see it on screen, Scream have made my dreams come true.”

Ryan has also enjoyed recent success with Sky Living’s series Bedlam, BBC One’s Doctors (airs December 14), Shameless (airs January) and BBC’s In the Flesh (airs February).

The ‘Seven Screams’ were talent spotted by a visiting BBC director at Scream Theatre school in Blackpool, where the children train and the team say they could not be prouder of them.

Managing director at Scream Management, Tracey Bell added: “We can’t wait to see our rising stars of tomorrow, it’s a harrowing drama and I am so proud of our young cast who worked so professionally on this grown up production.”

Scream Theatre School trains children for a professional career in the arts and are always on the lookout for new talent.

Scream’s successful Triple Threat Academy runs on Wednesdays and Saturdays, and showcases pupils to top casting directors every year. The school trains ages two to 18 with weekly classes including street dancing, breaking, advanced dance, musical theatre, youth theatre, LAMDA and private vocals plus all areas of the performing arts.
