Two front row tickets to the biggest gig in town are being raffled to raise money for our Hospice Heroes appeal.
Cuffe and Taylor, the organisers of the Rod Stewart concert being staged at Blackpool Football Club next Friday, have given Trinity Hospice the tickets in support of its refurbishment programme.
The hospice on Low Moor Road, Bispham, is in the final stages of the biggest refurbishment in its 29-year history and The Gazette is helping pay for it with its £200,000 Hospice Heroes campaign.
Already Cuffe and Taylor has agreed to donate £1 for every ticket sold for the concert, which is almost a sell-out, and Trinity volunteers will be outside the venue on the night with bucket collections.
The event is set to be one of the biggest single fund-raisers for our campaign.
Linzi Young, Fundraising Manager said: “The excitement is really building as the concert gets closer and we are thrilled that Cuffe and Taylor has given us two front row seats to raffle and raise even more money for Hospice Heroes.
“The winner is going to have an evening they won’t forget, and I’m hoping that all Rod Stewart fans will get involved.
“The best seats for the concert were snapped up within minutes, so it really is a unique opportunity.”
The raffle tickets are £5 each, though anyone who wants one must buy it soon as the draw will take place on Monday.
The winner will be notified by telephone and arrangements will be made to collect the tickets.
