Speaking about the update, Steve Gleeson, manager of The Foxhall said: “Our aim is to create a traditional pub environment so we’ve introduced soft furnishings, warmer lighting, a new colour scheme of cream and light brown and as we’ll now be offering food seven days a week from 11am to 9pm, we’ve increased the number of dining tables and chairs.

“The menu that we’re offering is fantastic and offers something for everyone. Dishes such as British Wholetail Scampi, Classic Lasagne and Hot Beef Yorkie Wrap sit under our pub favourites section along with a number of other lunchtime and meal deals.

“In addition to our new menu, Sky has also been installed along with six big screens and 26 televisions which create a number of ‘television walls’ throughout the pub, making The Foxhall the perfect place to watch the Euros and the Olympics this summer.

“The team and I are really pleased with the new look and we are looking forward to welcoming residents and visitors alike.”

The land on which The Foxhall stands was the site of Blackpool’s first substantial house which was built in 1670. During the 1800s, the site was extended to become a public house and in 1890 the Foxhall Hotel was acquired and demolished to make way for a concert hall.
