Blackpool Winter Gardens’ new music festival – Blackpool Live – featuring a host of tribute and other acts over a nine-day period starts on Friday and Duke’s Diary has five pairs of tickets to win for it.
The Arena, part of the Winter Gardens complex, will host a different concert every night from September 13 to 21 showcasing a variety of musical styles including some of the country’s best pop and rock tributes, plus jazz, blues and classic Las Vegas style crooning.
Each concert starts at 7.30pm and tickets are £10 each per concert.
The line-up of concerts is The Smiths Ltd (September 13), The Gershwin Gang (September 14), The Jam’d & Complete Weller (September 15), The Shakers Blues Band (September 16); Absolute Bowie (September 17); The Crooner (September 18), Ben: A Tribute To Michael Jackson (September 19), Definitely Mightbe Oasis tribute (September 20) and The Clone Roses (September 21).
“This series of concerts is designed to introduce the Winter Gardens to a new audience and encourage others to return, ” said Winter Gardens marketing manager David Gore. “There’s a wide range of musical styles so there should be something for everyone.”
