The Apple and Parrot is home to the Fylde’s new up and coming talent, with regular showcases being held at the venue to give unsigned bands the chance to perform and gather a following.
As well as booking top cover bands and tribute acts the Pleasure Beach venue is now promoting local bands and artists. Tonight sees 17-year-old singer/songwriter April Keen take to the stage, having had her debut album ‘Solace’ released in March; she has since been performing at multiple venues along the coast.
Joining April will be Blackpool hard rockers The Lost Archives and four-piece melodic indie rock band Jekyll hoping to for-fill everyone’s music genre tastes.
If one night just isn’t enough entertainment for you then head back to the Apple and Parrot for the second instalment on Saturday 26 where cover band Twisted Romance will be performing a collection of eclectic covers that will get any party started.
