Judge Jules (pictured) one of the original superstar DJs, will be playing Blackpool’s Flamingo Nightclub.
Voted DJ Magazine’s number one DJ in the world 20 years ago, he still pulls in crowds for nights in Ibiza and other resorts.
This summer his weekly Judgement nights are back at Eden club in San Antonio, and he’ll be flying back in to the UK for the Blackpool date at the Queen Street club.
Tickets cost £6 for the first 200 buyers, or £8 after, from Skiddle or www.facebook.com/fadeevents.
Doors open 10pm.
Fans of new music can get a taste of Andrew Jackson Jihad at Manchester’s Deaf Institute on Thursday night.
The Phoenix, Arizona, five-piece pitch themselves as ‘the weirdest gang in all of the land’.
UK folk singer Frank Turner has toured with them, and described their sound as a ‘pastiche of American country and folk, with a hefty dash of fifties Spektor-esque pop and Beach Boy melody thrown in, shoved violently through a lo-fi punk rock filter, topped off by a frantic voice’.
