Blackpool’s upcoming star Rae Morris has announced a second string of headline tour dates to follow up her recent sell-out gigs.
Singer-songwriter Rae will be back on the road from Thursday, October 1 at Leeds venue Stylus, also taking in the Ritz in Manchester on Saturday, October 10.
Last week, her debut headline tour came to a close, as the former St George’s High School pupil announced support gigs with Tom Odell and her first dates of the festival season.
As well as Dot 2 Dot in Manchester and Nottingham in May, she will be at Love Saves The Day in Bristol, and closing the outdoors season with Festival Number 6 in Portmerion and Bestival on the Isle Of Wight in September.
Her debut album Unguarded was released late last month, hitting the top 10 in the UK charts and winning plaudits from critics and fans alike, as well as major radio station airplay.
This weekend will see the 22-year-old appear on Channel 4’s Sunday Brunch, from 9.30am, where she will perform live on the show, which will also feature actor Stephen Tompkinson, who grew up in St Annes and attended St Bede’s Roman Catholic High School in Lytham and St Mary’s Sixth Form in Blackpool, talking about TV show DCI Banks.
