It wouldn’t be a bad motto to live life by, and it’s certainly what you’ll be thinking when you leave the theatre...
Gotta Sing, Gotta Dance plays a blinder at Blackpool’s Grand Theatre this week.
It’s a classically Blackpool show, featuring 60 songs and 50 dances in a magical night at the musicals.
The pace varies throughout, from high energy dance numbers from current West End musicals to slower classics from war time shows.
And a highlight has to be the American versus English composers ditty where tap dancers take on spoons players.
Also fit in are 105 costumes, 26 tap shoes, four explosions, two dustbin lids, a washboard and a watermelon – all delivered by just six sterling West End performers.
For this reviewer and a musical mad friend it was the ultimate night out and the only downside was we weren’t there on a Friday night ready for a night on the tiles to top it off.
It’s on again tonight, tomorrow day and tomorrow night – for tickets: (01253) 290 190 or visit: www.blackpoolgrand.co.uk/shows
