New South Promenade live music spot Apple And Parrot (formerly The Star) reopens this weekend – with local rock act Rupert fabulous.

The new team, headed by general manager Ben Holland and entertainment manager Kurtis Reid, is looking forward to the new season and reviving the venue, while promoting the best of local music.

Ben said: “The Apple And Parrot brand is very successful in the South East of England and we’re looking to bring that up here.

“We are all about keeping music live and promoting the best of Blackpool.

Upcoming acts include Deadbeats, Glitterballs, The Monster Squad and lots more.
