A Blackpool singer will pay a special visit to her home town tomorrow as excitement builds over the release of her second album.
Little Boots, aka Victoria Hesketh, is meeting fans and signing copies of her new album, Nocturnes, at the resort’s Bank Hey Street store at 5pm.
This visit comes after the performer pledged her support to the retailer and said she would make an appearance in store if the business came out of administration.
She said: “I’m so pleased that Blackpool HMV is staying open – it’s where I bought my first album and it’s an honour that people are now buying my album in the same shop!
“I hope it has a long and successful future and am looking forward to visiting again.
“The store has been so supportive of me as a local artist and I am very grateful to them.”
Restructuring specialist Hilco clinched a deal to rescue 141 HMV branches at the beginning of last month.
