One of the annual treats of the festive season is set to return to the Grand Theatre.
The Grand Christmas Concert will take place on Friday, December 18, with Poulton-le-Fylde Band leading a songbook of carols and seasonal musical.
Playing under musical director Dave Collins and with host Father Geoff Bottoms, the band will share some of the best-loved Christmas songs with the audience, celebrating the festive season in rousing style.
Taking place just a week before Christmas Day, the concert is designed to ease people into the holiday season. With sing-a-long sheets, mulled wine and mince pies, plus the splendour of the historic Grand Theatre, there should be plenty of atmosphere to get everyone into the spirit.
Marketing manager Andrew Howard said: “Year on year, many local people choose to come and share this magical evening with us.
“The Grand Christmas Concert provides a great opportunity to take a well-earned break, come together and celebrate Christmas in a fun and traditional way that is almost lost to us in the modern day. The theatre is always filled with so much excitement, making it an experience for all the family that is not to be missed.”
Tickets cost £16 and are available from www.blackpoolgrand.co.uk or by calling (01253) 290190.
