Sky Living’s new dating series Sing Date is casting now for single men and women who are single and love to sing – and producers are keen to hear from people on the Fylde coast.

If you would like the chance to go on a musical mission to find your perfect partner email singdate@princesstv.com to apply.

Alternatively you could tweet @SingDateTV for a show which is said to combine the force and immediacy of internet dating with the power of song.

It comes hot on the heels of Sky Living’s The Love Machine, presented by Chris Moyles and Stacey Solomon (pictured with Leeds Met University hottie Will Renton-Rose), the first series built on the channel’s strand of original British dating content for 2012.

On a musical mission to find their perfect partner, singing singletons duet to a karaoke track via their home webcam, which may well prove painful viewing - and listening - with most of us but could strike just the right note with a pitch imperfect partner in waiting.

Viewers are able to follow female contestants as they duet with single men before they decide who they’d like to make music with in real life by picking them for a face to face ‘Sing Date’ in the recording studio.

Antonia Hurford-Jones, acting director of Sky Living said: “Sing Date is a fabulously fun show and I’m sure Sky Living customers will love it.

“What better way of working out if you are compatible with someone than by duetting with them?”

The show’s on Saturday, Sky Living at 2pm.
