BLACKPOOL singer Aiden Grimshaw returned as guest of honour to the Blackpool record store where he used to buy CDs as a boy.
More than 100 adoring fans turned out to get their hands on a signed copy of new album Misty Eye at HMV on Bank Hey Street.
And the singer said it was surreal to be hosting the signing in the same shop he had often visited himself.
He added: “It’s weird, I used to buy CDs here and now I’m sitting here. It’s nice to see fans.”
The 20-year-old said while he was amazed by the turnout he was pleased just to be back in his home town.
He said: “Mum was telling me I best bring a coat up from London, but there’s a little bit of sun here.”
Aiden said he was looking forward to spending some time with his “biggest fan” while home – his grandma – who had joined him at the signing.
