Blackpool band Troubadour will launch its new EP at a gig in Salford later this month.
Infinite Expectations is the title of the new recording, coming from the band’s new ‘bigger beatier’ four-piece line-up.
They’ll be showcasing the ‘vibrant uplifting and hopeful collection of songs’ at their ‘favourite venue of 2014’ - the Eagle Inn, on Saturday, January 31.
Frontman Michael Shanagher said: “We played the Eagle Inn last year after discovering this brilliant little venue just round the corner from Blueprint Studios where the EP was recorded.
“It attracts loads of people that use the studio, such as the guys from Elbow who have a rehearsal room at Blueprint.
“It’s a really handy place for loads of industry people to get to, and a cracking place to play.
“It’s also right in the middle of our Yorkshire and Lancashire fan base, and we’ve got a coach travelling from Whitegate Drive, so hopefully it will give fans from both sides of the country access to what will be a really great night.”
Infinite Expectations will be sold at gigs and through the band’s website www.wearetroubadour.co.uk.
Michael added: “We’re looking forward to getting stuck into the festival scene now we’ve got a bigger beatier sound as a four piece.”
Entry to the launch is by ticket only from Skiddle.com, searching for Troubadour.
