A saxophone player with past collaborations including Amy Winehouse, Prince and Bob Geldof will be playing Fylde venues this weekend.
Aaron Liddard (pictured) will team up with local musician Tom Vernon to front Aaron And The Argonauts for dates on Friday and Saturday at the Galleon Bar in Blackpool and at Silantro in St Annes.
Tom said: “Aaron is making quite a name for himself as a session sax player in London.
“Our collaboration spans 20 years, beginning with a school musical in Salford.
“I returned to St Annes and Aaron became the musical interloper playing New York, India, Russia, Kazahkzstan, and everywhere between.
“Aaron’s played with legends like Amy Winehouse, Prince, Maceo Parker and Bob Geldof, and geniuses of gospel, blues, soul and funk.
“Drummer Danny Ward (aka DubbleD) and Loose Tubes founder bassist Steve Berry complete the line-up.”
