An international singing star has returned to his past to appear in a renowned TV arts show.
Singer Alfie Boe revisited his Marine Hall roots in Fleetwood for an upcoming episode of the popular South Bank Show.
The tenor once worked as a stage technician at the town’s venue before embarking on a successful career.
It has seen him perform in London’s West End and in front of sold out crowds across the world.
The show, which will air on May 16, will see Alfie return to his hometown and speak about his life and attitude to music.
The South Bank Show, presented by Melvin Bragg, will be screened at 9.30pm on Sky Arts 1 HD.
