Led Zeppelin are set to top the charts again with the release of the remastered albums Led Zeppelin IV and Houses of the Holy.
Zep’s fourth album is one of the best-selling albums worldwide at 37 million units, and with a 23-times platinum certification by the Recording Industry Association of America, it is the third-best-selling album in the United States.
Writers and critics have regularly cited it on lists of rock’s greatest albums, featuring the classics Rock and Roll, Black Dog and Stairway to Heaven.
Letz Zep are the official number one tribute to Led Zeppelin – both Jimmy Page and Robert Plant have seen the band perform, and even invited the band to play at the launch party for their Mothership CD.
Letz Zep are midway through their Celebration World Tour, and return to Blackpool on September 26.
With a repertoire of more than 50 songs, covering the entire career of Led Zeppelin, from the rockers like Black Dog and Rock and Roll through the acoustic folk style of Gallows Pole, to the haunting melody of Kashmir, and the classic Stairway to Heaven.
They will be playing Blackpool on Friday, September 26, at The Layton on Westcliffe Drive, from 7pm.
Tickets cost £10. Ring the box office on 01253 391774, or visit www.seetickets.com/event/letz-zep/the-layton
