The BTec second year music students at Blackpool and The Fylde College are organising a special event on Wednesday to highlight political issues in songwriting and raise money for an educational trip to London.
The London Calling evening will feature music performed and written by the students featuring political relevance plus cover versions with a political message.
The event will take place at the University Centre (Bennett Avenue) Theatre with doors opening at 7pm on Wednesday.
Tickets are available from the University Reception (Hub) on Bennett Avenue at £2 each which will support the students’ fund raising for their London trip.

The London trip will feature visits to the world famous BBC Maida Vale Studios (home of Radio 1’s Live Lounge), a visit and tour of sound systems in West End theatres, an opportunity to ask questions from a major record label and a chance to visit the iconic Camden Lock Market.
