Jason Manford has kept an on-stage promise to Blackpool and is heading back to the resort.
At the end of a sell-out gig at the Grand Theatre in January, Manford claimed he’d enjoyed the night so much he would return to the venue to make sure any fans who’d missed the show got a chance to see it.
And the comedian has proved true to his word, announcing he will play the theatre again on Saturday May 10.
The show is called First World Problems and went down a storm at a packed Grand.
“I love Blackpool because it’s just a terrific place,” said Manford.
“The audiences go out to have a good time and that always makes for a hugely enjoyable gig.”
Manford, from Salford, has been a stand-up since bursting onto the scene in the 90s and has also hosted the BBC’s The One Show and starred in Sweeney Todd in the West End.
Tickets for his Blackpool show on May 10 are £24 and on sale now from www.blackpoolgrand.co.uk or the box office on 01253 743339.
