JANE McDonald, who always goes down a storm whenever she comes to Blackpool, is heading back to the resort.
The singer, who found fame in the BBC’s The Cruise, and who has been a regular on our TV screens ever since (Loose Women, The Alan Titchmarsh Show, Family Fortunes, to name just a handful), has been booked to appear at the Opera House on Saturday November 9.
And the 49-year-old is thrilled at the prospect of heading back to a place she adores.
“I can’t wait to be back in Blackpool,” she said.
“It’s where it all started for me 15 years ago and it’s the venue every artist wants to play.
“I’m one of the lucky ones to be coming back.”
It will be Jane’s first concert at the Opera House since October 2011 and great news for those who regularly contact the venue for details of her next concert.
A spokesman for the Winter Gardens said: “We receive numerous enquiries about Jane and look forward to welcoming her back to The Opera House.
“Her shows are always very popular as she has such a loyal fan base.”
Tickets priced from £19.50 to £24.50 (plus booking fee) will be available on priority sale from Friday.
