Blackpool Grand Theatre is holding a special free birthday bash for its cheeky children’s ambassador Matcham Monkey on Sunday.
Matcham Monkey’s special free family fun day is taking place at Matcham Court behind Blackpool’s Grand Theatre on Sunday from 11am to 2pm.
So if your little chimps looking for something fun to do to start the Easter holidays there will be lots of exciting and entertaining free things to do including face painting, a big bouncy castle, storytelling from Poulton library, dancers, costume characters, theatre tours, balloons, stickers, giveaways and some very big surprises…
Fancy dress is optional but there will be a free pass to every single children’s shown for a year for the best fancy dress on the day.
Lancashire Constabulary’s Town Centre Neighbourhood Policing Team will also be at the party with freebies and offering community advice – and watch out for The Galactic Knights and Darth Vader from Star Wars. Blackpool Grand Theatre launched the Matcham Monkey Club in 2008 to offer children aged two to 12 the chance to get more involved with the live theatre experience.
The club offers exciting benefits for members including a free exclusive membership card, special discount for pantomime tickets, an opportunity for free show tickets, birthday treats, special events and the chance to meet the characters from your favourite children’s shows. And it’s free to join.
