LOCAL dance brand Randy Ron returns to it’s spiritual home and the place where it all started in 2009…with a festive session at the award-winning Residence nightclub in Poulton.
Boxing Day has become a legendary night over the past three years in the Randy Ron diary with sell-out crowds, the best music policy, Poulton’s best venue and the town’s elite… all gathered for the glitziest date of the year. But this time, it’s even bigger.
Randy Ron will be delivering its flagship party with aplomb so expect some low blows, ringside randyness and maybe even a knockout, as four DJs take to the decks to give you the biggest soundtrack on Boxing Day.
Alex Huckerby of Randy Ron says: “We’re always thinking of ways to raise the bar of night club events and, of course, ways to keep our nights fresh and exciting and I can honestly say, this night will be what everyone is talking about.”
The night will consist of two ‘battles’ – the Urban battle and the House battle. First Blackpool’s biggest R&B/Hip-Hop DJ Vince Williams will be up against Manchester’s Robbie B to get the dance floor jumping.
Then, it’s old skool vs new skool as BBC Radio 1 DJ winner Danny Howard takes on Blackpool legend Jason Fubar as do all they can to win over the crowd.
Danny says: “I don’t know what I’m letting myself in for here as Jason is an all-round entertainer so I’ll have to pull a trick or two out the bag, but all-in-all it’s a bit of fun, and the fact that we have four top class DJs on the line-up will ensure that the music is the best around.” Completing the talent filled line-up on the night is rising local star DJ Elliott Smith as well as Hed Kandi and Gatecrasher percussionist… G Percussion.
Alex added: “I can’t stress enough how important it is to either get yourself a ticket or get to the venue super early as last year was complete lock-out and the club was at capacity by 11.30pm, and we anticipate the same again this time round.”
