Comedian Alex Horne’s first ever gig came after winning a Christmas cracker joke-writing competition while working as deputy head of dairy at Budgens in Midhurst.
Since that small beginning he has managed to establish a remarkable reputation among critics, comics and audiences as a gifted gag-smith, prolific writer and one of the most creative solo performers at work today.
Next Tuesday he is making his Fylde coast debut at Lytham’s Lowther Pavilion in Seven Years In the Bathroom – his recent Edinburgh show.
In it Alex creates scenes we all recognise including shopping, kissing, looking for lost things, eating, queuing and even Googling yourself.
The ambitious show will squeeze it all into one performance – everything you do in your life in just one hour.
Tickets cost £12.50.
