MANCHESTER blues and rock band Tony Dowler’s Hellhounds keeps music live at The Prince Arthur in Fleetwood tonight.

The power trio are well known in the Fleetwood area from previous visits, so a good crowd is expected for their Lord Street appearance.

The band came together when guitarist Tony Dowler, bassist Dave Burns and drummer Steve Tansley joined forces.

Between them, the members have toured extensively throughout Britain, Ireland and Europe, playing at and headlining several festivals. They have recently played in Norway and at the Rory Gallagher tribute festival in Northern Ireland.

In addition to classic blues rock covers, the band has recently been working at

Tony’s 24-track Manchester studio, developing and recording new material.

The music gets under way at 9pm, and the gig is free.
