A glittering ball to raise money for the worthiest of causes takes place at the Imperial Hotel on Friday May 31.
Leigh’s Stars is a non-profit charity which helps families pay for a head stone or plaque for a child that has passed away through a late miscarriage, stillbirth, SID (sudden infant death), terminal illnesses and accidents up to the age of 13 years.
It is trying to raise as much money as possible to become an official registered charity.
The ball will feature a wine drinks reception, a three-course meal, a DJ, raffle and a live band – Lieutenant Dan
Tickets for the evening event are £30 per person. There is 10 per cent off group bookings of five or more.
