Fylde coast singletons could get a helping hand on to the path of true love as Take Me Our returns for another season.

The hit ITV dating programme is looking for men and women who are looking for the person of their dreams.

Host Paddy McGuinness is once again preparing to play cupid and urging singe girls and boys to remember No likey – No lighty.

A spokeswoman for Thames TV said: “Hit Saturday night dating show Take Me Out is back and is looking for Blackpool’s single guys and girls of all ages who are looking for love

“Are you are single and wanting to find that special someone? Do you want to go on the date of a lifetime?

“If you or anyone you know fits the bill, get in touch with the match-making team.”

The objective is for a man to gain a date with one of 30 single women. The women stand on stage underneath thirty white lights, each with a button in front of them. A single man is then brought on stage and tries to woo the women in a series of rounds.

If they lose interest, they can turn their lights off. At the end of three rounds, if there are still lights left on, the bachelor will turn off all but two of the remaining lights himself. He will then have a chance to ask one question before choosing which women he wants to go on a date with. If all the women turn off their lights before the end of the three round the man must leave the show alone.
