Garstang & Longridge in Photos launch 2016

The Garstang & Longridge Newspapers has many beautiful historic landmarks, buildings and scenery and we want to celebrate these and ask our readers to send in your favourite photographs of the local area.

At this time of year especially the area is looking at its stunning best, nowhere more so than in Garstang Longridge, which has won multiple gold medals and awards in Britian in Bloom.

For the sixth year running The Sparling in Barton Restaurant, are sponsoring this fabulous competition inviting amateur photographers of any age to get out and about and take shots of any places, people or scenes that they believe sums up all that is great about our wonderful area.

The only requirement is the photograph must be landscape shape (not portrait) and must be in the local area, but it can be of absolutely anything… the choice is yours!

There are some fantastic prizes to be won 1 st prize £250 cash 2 nd prize £150 restaurant vouchers 3 rd prize £125 restaurant vouchers courtesy of The Sparling In Barton.

The closing date for entries is Friday 26 th August 2016.

Entries can be posted to: Garstang & Longridge Photos, The Promotions Department, C/o Blackpool Gazette Newspaper, Avroe House, Avroe Crescent, Blackpool Business Park, FY4 2DP; or alternatively email them to [email protected] (with Garstang in the subject field)

Each entry must include your landscape shape photograph including your name, age, address, telephone number and the details of the photograph.

The top entries will be featured in a special picture supplement. Then it will be up to our judging panel to decide our three lucky winners!
