Tickets for the Blackpool North Pier appearance of Erasure went on sale today
As revealed in Duke’s Diary last week Erasure are set to play an exclusive “up close and personal” performance at the re-opened theatre on Saturday November 5.
The show – an addition to their forthcoming UK tour – comes hot on the heels of their new single When I Start To (Break It All Down), their first earlier studio album in four years and a short film on Tomorrow’s World.
Andy Bell and Vince Clarke, aka Erasure, appeared on the music scene in 1985 when they released their first single Who Needs Love Like That. Vince had previously been a founding member of Depeche Mode and then half of the pop duo Yazoo.
With over 25 million album sales and more than 40 hit singles, Erasure remain one he country’s most successful ever duos.
