Blackpool North Pier is going green at Easter when a new show celebrating the true spirit of Ireland comes to town.
Celtic Dream will be at Blackpool North Pier on Saturday April 7 with a show featuring dancers, vocalists and musicians from around Ireland.
The show is a blend of traditional Irish music alongside modern and popular songs plus fully choreographed dance routines and a touch of the old Irish ‘craic’.
Included in the cast are The Dream Tenors (pictured right), a trio of talented young male vocalists who were recently invited by Tourism Ireland to support music icon Van Morrison in a show-stopping performance at St James’ Palace especially for Irish ministers and members of the English Royal Family.
Dream Tenors’ vocalist John Ward has also penned a forward-looking, positive and uplifting, national song for Northern Ireland titled Home.
Show creator and producer Peter Tobit said: “England has its Jerusalem, Scotland has its Flower of Scotland and now thanks to the songwriting skills of John Ward, Northern Ireland has its anthemic Home, the lyrics of which sum of the hope and positive future for Ireland.”
