Win, lose or even if murdered by fellow Celebrity Big Brother contestants, Jedward have lined Blackpool up as one of just five dates on their second UK tour later this year.
To celebrate the release of their second album, Victory, the nation’s self styled favourite twins will be at the Opera House on Friday, December 2.
In the two years since they burst on to the nation’s television screens on the X Factor, the brothers have dominated the headlines for the all right – and even some of the wrong – reasons.
Their clean living ways and admirable work ethic (Louis Walsh has deemed them “the hardest working act I’ve ever had”) have endeared them to adults and children alike.
A number one album in Ireland and a memorable Eurovision performance are testimony to this resulting in number one singles in Ireland, Sweden, Germany and the Austrian iTunes charts. Since returning from the Eurovision, Jedward have become Ireland’s hottest music act.
Playing songs from their second album and all the favourites from Planet Jedward, the Carnival will also visit Newcastle, Glasgow, Birmingham and Cardiff.
Tickets for the Opera House cost £25 each and go on sale from Saturday (9am on-line and 11am from the box office).
